Consultation Garden consultations include a site visit and usually last 1-2 hours. Recommendations include suitable plant lists, sustainable principles, efficient watering/irrigation, maintenance techniques.
Design After the initial consultation, with your approval in writing we will proceed with agreed upon design work.
We begin the design process by collecting data and analyzing the existing site conditions, including measuring, mapping existing plants and features, irrigation hardware, utilities, how the landscape is utilized, areas of traffic and drainage patterns. This is then compiled into a base plan and provides the information to address the needs of the project goals. We will prepare one or more conceptual plans along with a plant palette and relative costs for each concept. Based on your preferences and budget, we will include all the desired elements and create a final plan that includes a planting plan, an irrigation remodel plan and soils-grading-mulch plan. Design work is billed hourly as needed to complete the required plans.
Install Once the design has be agreed up and approved in writing, installation can begin. We provide hands on guidance to our crews or can consult with your contractors to ensure the project is completed with best practices and in line with the intent of the design.
